Ghent is a city and a municipality in the East Flanders province of the Flemish Region of Belgium. It is the capital and largest city of the province and the third largest in the country, after Brussels and Antwerp. It is a port and university city.
As you wander through the beautiful streets of Ghent, you will be transported back in time to the medieval era. The city boasts a stunning collection of Gothic architecture, including the iconic Saint Bavo Cathedral and the Gravensteen Castle.
But Ghent is not just a city frozen in time. It also has a vibrant modern side, with trendy cafes, restaurants, and bars popping up all over the city. The locals are friendly and welcoming, and there is always something to see and do.
